At 8:00 AM, our English- speaking driver|guide will come to greet you at your Riad/Hotel. Then depart for our 3 day Fes desert tour, by driving towards the Middle Atlas mountains. Passing by Ifrane “The Switzerland of Morocco”, and the Cedar forest of Azrou. Once we get to the forest, we will stop for a while to feed the monkeys. Our private day tour will continue towards the South East crossing the Palm Grove of Ziz and Aouffous Oasis which offers amazing photographic opportunities. Since we are in the South of Morocco, we will make a short discovering stop to explore one of the Fossil’s workshops in Erfoud. We will arrive at the Desert dunes where we’ll be welcomed with a fresh drink. Dinner and overnight in our accommodation.
After breakfast, we will start our 4×4 desert excursion by visiting the panoramic lake of Yasmina. This lake is located between the sand dunes and black desert rocks. We will continue to a small Palm Grove panorama where a small Berber village is called Tissardmine. In the area, we will also visit a Nomad family which preferred to live the wild lifestyle in their tents. We will be welcomed to have a cup of tea with them before heading to Khamlia (Black people village) which is known as Gnawa town. These black people have their house for training the music of their own culture, We will take a visit with a cup of tea included in their house and enjoy a danceable music break.
After a while, our 4×4 excursion will be continuing to a traditional restaurant where we will enjoy a special Desert Pizza for lunch. Sometime in the afternoon, we will drive back to our accommodation to get ready for our Camel trekking experience. We will take the opportunity to discover the dunes on the camel’s back to catch the sunset on the top of the Sand dunes. Then trek back to our Luxury desert camp for a drums party and overnight with dinner included.
We will start our Fes desert tour 3rd day with morning sunrise photos over the sand dunes, and take our breakfast. After everyone is ready, we will start our journey with a drive towards the Middle Atlas. Our destination will be back to Fes passing by Tafilalet valley and Errachidia. On our way, we will make a stop in Midelt for a coffee and lunch, then continue our adventure. Once we arrive in Fes, we will accompany you to your accommodation where our desert trip comes to the end.
